During her attendance at Tennesse State University, she became a travel nurse and a COVID crisis relief specialist where she had the opportunity to work throughout the United States.  She described this act of services as humbling, yet an honorable experience.  Although she enjoyed this aspect of her career, God led her back to Mississippi to serve others within her community.

She practices as the Clinical Director of H.E.A.L. Mississippi clinic where she specializes in primary care and preventive care and also where she has leveraged her skills as a COVID-19 relief specialist hosts COVID-19 vaccination clinics in underserved communities across Mississippi. With H.E.A.L. Mississippi, she also participate in supervising health fair screenings at local colleges while educating the college students on the importance of healthy eating and active living.  As a result, her passion for serving others began to evolve and expanded her interest in diabetes care, management, and prevention. Kimberly explains, “I love building relationships and working with people to assist them with achieving a healthy life by introducing them to healthy food options, and encouraging them to find pleasure in exercising.”

She believes that her purpose in life is to serve and heal others while spreading joy.  In her spare time, she finds excitement in visiting local coffee shops, building memories with her friends and family, and traveling the world.
